Dental Hygienist – Heritage Square Dental Care (Palm Bay, FL) Hiring Now – Training Provided at Sister Office

Heritage Square Dental Care is excited to announce the opening of a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art dental office in Palm Bay, Florida, and we are actively hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new practice from day one while receiving paid training at one of our established sister offices.

About the Role

As a Dental Hygienist with us, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting preventive dentistry, and helping shape the culture of a brand‑new office. You’ll train at a nearby sister location to ensure you’re fully prepared before the Palm Bay office opens.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive hygiene care — Perform cleanings, periodontal therapy, and oral health assessments

• Patient education — Communicate treatment needs and promote long‑term oral health

• Digital charting — Maintain accurate electronic records

• Team collaboration — Support a positive, efficient, patient‑focused environment

• Technology use — Work with modern equipment in a fully updated clinical setting

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in FLand an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
