A bit about us:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the flexibility of remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks. This role is highly collaborative and requires close interaction with various departments within the organization. The Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a pivotal role in financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.
This role is remote, but you can work out of any of the office locations if you want to.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, cash applications, and coding invoices.
2. Manage private equity accounting and multi-entity, multi-location accounting.
3. Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
4. Prepare and post month-end closing journal entries.
5. Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
6. Assist with financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
7. Use advanced Excel skills to create financial models and analyses.
8. Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related tasks.
9. Provide support during internal and external audits.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Degree not required, just a PLUS!
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on AP and AR.
3. Experience with private equity accounting and multi-entity, multi-location accounting.
4. Proficiency in Accounts Receivable, invoicing, cash applications, and Accounts Payable.
5. Experience in coding invoices, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
6. Proven ability to maintain a general ledger and prepare financial reports.
7. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
8. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Experience with accounting software and systems.
