We are on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team, specializing in Commercial Ground Up projects in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including K12 projects, and make a significant impact on our organization's success. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in project management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects from start to finish.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
3. Managing project budgets, including the procurement of goods and services, and maintaining financial accountability.
4. Identifying and managing project risks, and developing risk mitigation strategies to manage issues.
5. Coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards, on time and within budget.
6. Leading and managing project teams, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
8. Communicating regularly with stakeholders about project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Senior Project Manager, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically in Commercial Ground Up projects.
2. Proven experience working on K12 projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
5. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and manage project risks.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in project management would be considered a plus.
