Job DetailsJob Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Superintendent for Multifamily Projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a solid background in concrete construction to lead and manage large-scale multifamily construction projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest levels of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through to project closeout.
2. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
3. Coordinate and supervise the activities of project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, architects, and field staff.
4. Implement and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on the job site.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
6. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all parties involved in the project, including clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.
7. Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner.
8. Prepare and submit regular project reports, updates, and forecasts to senior management.
9. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws related to construction projects.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in multifamily construction.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multifamily construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and specifications.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. Proficient in the use of construction management software and other relevant IT tools.
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
